The ONE & ONLY

I was in the market for a new camera strap, even though i wasn't REEALLLY needing one but i saw a post and have seen in person these little red round things on peoples camera and always thought to myself "what the heck are those?" Next thing you know i went down a rabbit hole of research and discovered the Peak Design and their brilliant design of a camera strap. Now this review is of no way, sponsored or asked, nor was i shipped anything for free, i did indeed purchase this (and all my gear) with my own money, so this review/blog is as true and authentic as they come - even if this was a sponsored review i would still give my honest feedback about something i never want to be THAT PERSON, you know?

Simplicity is key here, this brilliant design allows you to switch the strap between multiple camera's as long as you have those clips or well take them off and switch them too if you wish, you get 4 in the box so unless you have more than 2 camera's you don't really need more. IF you do, just buy some, their cheap and honestly worth it. The camera strap is comfortable and like one-handed easy to operate (clip in) the buckles are easy to adjust and hold their spot (this is key) for like travelling, hiking, walking or just everyday outings with your camera. The ONLY downside i have heard about the buckles is overtime they will leave black marks on your clothing, do i care? Not really i mean 90% of the time i am not in the most fashionable clothing anyways so overall its worth a sacrifice to me. I have yet to experience this black mark on my clothing but to know that it COULD happen is better than a WTF moment.

The buckles are like the Cadillac of seatbelts...but in the camera strap industry! They are well built, sturdy, heavy duty and made of aluminum so they have strength considering this camera strap can hold 200lbs. The buckles are stupid easy to adjust you don't need to loosen one to tighten the other side and vice versa you simply unlock, adjust, lock and BAM you are ready to go. They have a unique Anchor lock connection system that lets this strap become a 3 in 1 so you can choose between sling, neck or shoulder strap.

I highly suggest reading about their mission its truly something, the whole concept behind Peak Design is amazing!

Also these clips (pictured right) are interchangeable with the straps. So what you do, put 2 clips on each camera and than switch your strap between your cameras. Not only does this save room in your bag, the camera strap doesn't need to stay on, there is no need to have more than one strap in your bag and the strap is super comfy!

The weight strength for each one of these is 200lbs (90kg) so there no truly is no worry of "is this going to hold my setup" because lets be honest, you are not carrying around a 200lb setup around your neck.

Peak Design is also backed by lifetime warranty so there really is no reason not to go with this setup. In todays market (likely to fluctuate) the camera strap retails for $99 CAD which isn't bad considering the amount you have already spent on your gear. To me a user-friendly, convenient, comfortable, multipurpose strap for a $99 dollars is well worth it.
